PCs: Flynn, Tuarninn, Udo, Ulrich
MR 673 - Sarimiere
The PCs are passing by the Marktplatz, on their way to Morr's Fields. Whilst enjoying the Ubersreik market, they make the acquaintance of Heske Glazer, a local merchant specialized in glass trinkets. Soon the crowded market is disturbed by a rioting mob!
The PCs are caught in the riot, and do their best to defend themselves, breaking some bones and some skulls, and sending some rioters to Morr's realm. They do their best to protect Heske, and accidentally witness the murder of a Fire Wizard, shot through the neck with a crossbow bolt.
When they manage to disengage themselves from the mob, they chance upon a robbery at the expenses of an elderly woman and her richly dressed ward. They send the thieves on the run, and receive the thanks of the woman and the young girl she was accompanying.
Eventually the Altdorf army shows up, and they arrest everyone still present. The PCs are thrown in jail together with the crowd of rioters.
After a night in jail, the PCs are ushered to the Courthouse, where they are accused of having instigated the riot. Clearly someone is trying to frame them, also evidenced by the main "witnesses" accusing the party. Mysteriously, a local lawyer named Osanna Winandus steps in and convinces the judge responsible for the case to let the Characters serve as members of the Watch to work off their ‘debt’.
