For years, the Von Jungfreud family has had a large retinue of servants. Over the last decades, they never had a runaway.  Resentment was never in the nature of the servants for they were always well treated. Udo's story begins very much like this.

Loved by his parents and raised around the court, he had a pretty standard childhood. Brechtur was taught to him from infancy on.  In fact, replacing all feeling with his ancestral lands, where ever they are.  Courtiers, nobles, servants, warriors. All bestowed parts of their knowledge on Udo. He was well raised. Leaving him with a honed wit and an athleticism overshadowing even some younglings of the noble family themselves.

Muden got notice of the popularity of the "Graf" and his court. He could not let a mere Count overshadow the Duke, could he? Nobody expected Rikard's move on Ubersreik. He sent regiment after regiment to bring the city and its noble to their knees. Dire months followed, and the "Graf" surrendered his seat of power in favor of his private estates. Forced by the ruthlesness and jealousy of his liege. To whom he was never unfaithful.

Reckoning the situation of his lord, Udo devised a plan with the "Graf". Even now, without sure future, Udo would not abandon the man who took such great care of him and his servant-family.Vowing he would find a way to restore the "Graf" to his former status, the young Udo took to the streets.

Energetic and driven by loyalty, Udo did what he could. Never giving up his lord's location. Yet trying to gain intel on where the nasty lies came from. Gaining info, holding sway. Running swag, crafting intrigue. Hunting down the malevolence. Ever patient. Never noticed. Benevolent to the beggar, courteous to the oppressor.
