Tuarim is the son of Malik el-Arrasi, the former leader of the White Lotus.
Malik tried to manipulate Tuarim into taking control of the realm of Ariya, but Tuarim refused. During the coup organized by Malik, Tuarim was heavily burned.
Tuarim has decided to not heal his wounds with magic, to never forget those events.
Tuarim now travels the land to atone for what he considers his sins. Many people died during Malik's coup, and Tuarim was too blind to see it.
During his travels, he stopped in a village in the Tarvan Wastes. A family took him in when he was almost dead from lack of water. Not long after, the armies of General Von Dabernick raided the village looking for an escaped criminal. Tuarim swore revenge.
He got his chance to kill Von Dabernick during the rebellion of Ubersreik, but he decided to spare the man's life.
