PCs (lvl 5): Tuarninn, Udo, Ulrich
MR 673 - Haelynir
With criminality on the rise in Dunkelfeucht, the party investigates how to bring down the Baron. They identify two of her most prominent lieutenants: Iron Fist Greta and Jorn the Spider. They approach Jorn out of town, in the Fleshmarket. They choose for a diplomatic approach, and instead of arresting or attacking the man, they try to turn him against the Baron. Jorn is willing to listen to the party's proposals.
Back in town, Ulrich receives some important news from Nixie, when the smuggler informs him she's carrying their baby.
Dannel Meer meets with the party to update them on his planned heist. The operation is ready to go in three days, during which the PCs arrange for some more manpower to arrest the Lowhavens as agreed. All is in place, and on a quite summer night, the PCs lie in wait on a boat on the Teufel, as another silent boat approaches. Tuarninn shoots a few flaming arrows at the boat, eliciting no response. When the PCs approach the incoming vessel, they only find the corpse of Dannel Meetr. His throat has been slit, and a rat has been placed in his mouth.
